Walk UK is a family business that was started in 1998. In the early days our walks were designed around The James Herriot series “All Creatures Great and Small” and therefore focused on Yorkshire and different parts of the Yorkshire Dales and the Yorkshire Moors. Some of these early walks shared their routes with part of The Coast to Coast walk which meant we received requests from numerous clients who wanted to explore this famous walk more thoroughly. As a result it wasn’t too long before we added The Coast to Coast to our itinerary.
After a few years experience it seemed logical to expand our horizons and The Cotswold Way was added in 2005. Following many requests from clients we looked further afield for other rewarding UK walks and in 2008 added The Saints Way and The South West Coast Path in Cornwall. Scotland was next and our inaugural walk on The West Highland Way in 2010 was a big success with 7 of the 12 places being taken by clients walking with us for the second, third and even forth time. Plans are now in place to add North Wales/Snowdonia in either 2012 or 2013.

Our goal is, and has always been, to offer our clients the very best of UK walking. All of our walks are chosen because they incorporate places and features of particular historic and scenic interest.
